EUROSAI Governing Board Statement on the situation in Ukraine

On Thursday 3 March 2022, an extraordinary EUROSAI Governing Board meeting was held online. The only item on the agenda was the EUROSAI Governing Board’s response to the situation in Ukraine. The EUROSAI Governing Board adopted a statement in which it condemns the aggression against the peoples of Ukraine and pledges full support to the Accounting Chamber of Ukraine.
The EUROSAI Governing Board suspends its relations with all Russian and Belorussian official authorities, including the Accounts Chamber of the Russian Federation and the State Control Committee of the Republic of Belarus.
It also calls upon the INTOSAI Governing Board to consider the suspension of the holding of the INTOSAI Presidency by the Accounting Chamber of Russia.
