Preparations of the INCOSAI XXII – First Newsletter from the UAE
The host of the next INCOSAI has sent out to INTOSAI members the first INCOSAI XXII newsletter, containing information on three areas:
- An update on preparations for the Congress.
- The two themes for the Congress:
- Theme I : How INTOSAI can contribute to the UN 2030 Agenda for Sustainable Development, including good governance and strengthening the fight against corruption?
- Theme II: Professionalization: what can promote INTOSAI's credibility to become a more prominent international organization?
- What is planned over the next 12 months in the lead up to the Congress.
Increased interaction and direct engagement for delegates has been planned for the INTOSAI Congress in 2016, asking committees and regions for more condensed reports and a focus on key topics, allowing more time for discussions and interaction between members through booths, seminars and workshops and ceasing the presentation of country papers (regional papers,
surveys on the two themes and social media will be used for preparing the discussions on both themes).
