ECIIA invites EUROSAI members to the “European Public Sector Forum: New challenges for internal and external auditors in the Public Sector”

In collaboration with EUROSAI, the European Confederation of Internal Audit Institutes (ECIIA) is pleased to invite you to the first edition of European Public Sector Forum: New challenges for internal and external auditors in the Public Sector which will be held online on the 30th of March 2022.
The forum will be an opportunity to share experiences and common challenges of the internal audit profession in the Public Sector and to network with European peers.
Participants will also have a chance to hear the Netherlands Court of Audit (NCA) presentation on the guidance “Integrated Reporting in the European Public Sector: It’s time to act!” which shows the final results of NCA’s common project with ECIIA stating on how various European countries have taken on board the principles of Integrated Reporting.
Amongst others, the topics addressed are:
- Best practices on collaboration between internal and external audit
- New risks for internal audit in the public sector
- The collaboration between internal and external audit for the audit of European Programs
