E-COURSE ON AUDITING ENVIRONMENTAL IMPACTS OF INFRASTRUCTURE

The Massive Open Online Course (MOOC) “Auditing Environmental Impacts of Infrastructure” organized by the National Audit Office of Estonia (NAOE) and the University of Tartu will run from 11 February to 10 March 2019.
The MOOC is based on international standards of public sector auditing and the research paper “Environmental Issues Associated with Infrastructure Development” produced by the INTOSAI Working Group on Environmental Auditing. It has been developed to support auditing environmental and sustainability impacts of infrastructure using performance audit methods. Infrastructure development process along with governance tools and methods for managing environmental impacts of infrastructure are also introduced and practical examples from infrastructure audits conducted by NAOE presented.
