The 61^st Governing Board (GB) meeting was held electronically on 27 May 2024. The meeting, chaired by the SAI of the Czech Republic (EUROSAI Presidency) was attended also by the observers (SAIs Portugal, Austria, ECA and IDI), together with representatives of EUROSAI Working Groups, Task Force and Network, and the non-GB co-leaders of the Strategic Goals.

 The summary of the main discussions and agreements (SoA) of the 61^st GB meeting is the following:

• The GB approved the minutes of its 58^th, 59^th and 60^th meetings.
• The GB took note of the EUROSAI Activity Report 2023-2024.
• With regard to the EUROSAI Strategic Goals, the GB took noteof:
  • The Consolidated Annual Progress report of the Strategic Goals for the period 2023-2024.
  • The projects carried out in the framework of Strategic Goal 1 (Professional Cooperation), referred to the period 2023-2024.
  • In relation to the Network for Ethics (N.ET), the GB took note of its Activity Report 2021-2024 and Working programme 2024-2027; and supported the draft resolution to the Congress.
  • The annual report (2023-2024) of the Strategic Goal 2 (Institutional capacity development).
•  With regard to the Overall implementation of the Governance Portfolios, the GB took note of:
  • The Consolidated annual progress report (2023-2024)
  • The Annual progress report 2023-2024 of each of the EUROSAI Governance portfolios:
    • Overall Governance and Culture
      • Regarding the draft information to the XII Congress on the EUROSAI Statement on Ukraine, the EUROSAI GB supported the report on the EUROSAI Statement on Ukraine for its submission to EUROSAI Congress’ information.
    • Communication.
    • Emerging issues and Forward thinking.
    • Relations with non-SAI stakeholders.
    • Relations with INTOSAI and its Region al Organisations.

• Coordination Team’s activities:
  • The GB took note of the list of financial subsidies 2023-2024 and the list of established and closed PGs 2023-2024.
  • The GB supported the final report of the Coordination Team’s activities 2017-2024 for submission to Congress information.
• The GB took note of the Activity report 2021-2024 and Working Programme 2024-2027 of each EUROSAI Working Group, Task Force and Network, and supported their Draft Resolution to the Congress:
  • Information Technology Working Group (ITWG).
  • Working Group on Environmental Auditing (WGEA).
  • Working Group on the Audit of Funds Allocated to Disasters and Catastrophes (WGAFADC).
  • Task Force on Municipality Audit (TFMA), that included the proposal to the Congress of its transformation into a Working Group on Municipality Audit (WGMA).
• The GB approved the proposal of the SAI of Türkiye to establish and chair a new EUROSAI TF on Sustainable Development Goals (TFSDGs) and supported its Draft Resolution to the XII Congress.

• The GB took note of the information on 2023 EUROSAI Financial Report and Auditor´s Report for their submission to the Congress for approval.

• The GB adopted the draft EUROSAI budget for the period 2025-2027 for its submission to Congress for approval.

• Concerning of Relations with INTOSAI the GB took note of:
  • The Report of the General Secretariat of INTOSAI.
  • The information on the Key Issues from the INTOSAI Governing Board provided by EUROSAI representatives in that organ.
  • The Report of IDI on its cooperation with EUROSAI.

• Regarding of the XII EUROSAI Congress & 62^nd GB meeting:
  • The GB adopted the XII Congress’ Rules of procedure.
  • The GB took note of the information provided regarding the voting procedures at the XII EUROSAI Congress, the 62^nd GB meeting’s agenda and the expected future in-person technical part of the XII Congress.

• The GB took note of the information about any other business.
